Organizers Babak Tafreshi Photography and Bruberg Tech II LLC, our host Medomak Retreat Center, our instructors and cooperating agents aim to organize every aspect of the program as announced. However we reserve the right to change our arrangements and itinerary should conditions necessitate. We accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses to attendee due to delays or changes to the services to be provided. In the unlikely condition that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop everyone will be fully refunded according to the cancellation policy:
If you withdraw very late due to a medical emergency we will do our best to partially credit you towards a future program. If the program is cancelled due to a natural calamity, epidemic, or other rare unexpected events, you will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for reimbursement of airline tickets or other non-refundable travel bookings. Your trip cancellation plan/travel insurance should cover this.

We assume no liability for any act, error, omission, illness (including viruses or illness from any communicable disease) injury (including death), loss, delay, mishap, or damage to Attendee, persons or property arising from any cause during the program or in transit to and from the retreat center.
There are potential risks in any outdoor recreational activities, including equipment break, fail or malfunction despite reasonable maintenance and use. You agree that if you have any mental or physical conditions or limitations that may limit your ability to participate in such activities to discuss them with a licensed physician and share this with the program organizers. You agree to pay all damages to property or persons which may arise from participation in the program, including medical and emergency expenses in the event of an accident, illness or other incidents.
To heighten awareness, upon arrival at the Retreat Center, all participants must attend a mandatory safety orientation where retreat center rules and regulations are discussed. The majority of the rules are cited in our Campers Handbook. You will find a copy in your cabin.

Any/all activities in which you engage in the program are “at your own risk”, and unfortunately there are occasional opportunities for injuries. For the typical situation participants are usually able to act on their own behalf. In the unlikely event that a participant is unable to exercise their authority to decide as to type and extent of medical treatment, we require that you give permission for Medomak staff or the program organizers to contact 911 emergency services.

You grant full usage rights to the program organizers to use, for promotional purposes of their future programs and activities, any photo or video recording taken during the program in which yourself or your equipment appear and You agree to waive any claims for financial reimbursement for said use.
If you do not wish to appear in close-up photos or video recordings you have an option above and please remind the organizers in-person during the program. You may still appear in images of the group’s overall activity, from a distance.

Dietary notice: We provide well-balanced, varied meals. With notice by email at least 7 days prior to your arrival, we can accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets. All meals have essential components that are gluten free, but people with celiac disease may be concerned and should be advised that our kitchens cannot account for cross-contamination. People who prefer to eat gluten free may wish to bring along personal items to supplement their preferences.
